Finance executive John Blondel Jr. prepared for his career as an undergraduate at Harvard College, where he focused his studies on history. He served as the Editor of The Harvard Crimson, Harvard’s daily newspaper, and participated in athletics, namely football and track. John Blondel Jr. graduated with high honors in American history. He continued his education at Harvard earning his Master of Business Administration in 1983. Immediately following graduation from Harvard Business School, John Blondel Jr. joined Goldman Sachs where he remains today. From 1983 to 1997, Mr. Blondel was in the Fixed Income Division. Currently, he is a Managing Director in the firm's Investment Management Division. Outside of his work in finance, Mr. Blondel supports his alma mater as Co-Chair of the Harvard College Fund for his class, as well as through participation on the Committee on University Resources. John Blondel Jr. is on the Boards of the Friends of the High Line, the Jackie Robinson Foundation and the Academy of American Poets.
